Switch Kids guides our little ones from birth through 4th grade. It is the first stop in our Family Ministries, which partners with families to help kids become passionate followers of Jesus all the way through High School. We take our cue from what Jesus said: “Love God with all your heart; and love your neighbor as yourself.”
Switch Kids Nursery is for infants to 4-year-olds. We have Sunday morning nursery care during the 9 am and 10:30 am services. This is where kids are first introduced to the love of Jesus in a variety of playful, creative environments.
Check in your kids at the Nursery desk on the left of the foyer. You will get a name tag for you and your child. This will have the room assignment and a unique code to use for child pick-up.
Our Switch Kids Sunday gatherings are for kids pre-K through 4th grade. We have exciting, fun, discipleship-focused classes at 9 am and 10:30 am. This is often the time frame when kids make a conscious choice to follow Jesus and commit to their faith.
You may use the upstairs Kids Check-in Desk to get their name tag and find their room assignment.
Olathe Bible Church has a ministry called Special Connections that is designed to serve families with children who have special needs in a variety of ways.
Support Groups | Relational and practical support for families with children with special needs.
Sunday Assistance| One-on-one support for kids with special needs on Sunday mornings.
During the school year, kids from 1st through 4th grade meet on Wednesday nights from 6:30 – 8 pm. Come early at 5:45 pm for a family dinner. See the News and Events tab for upcoming menus.
We believe that children are a gift from God, and we are very excited that you are interested in child dedication as a milestone in your child’s life.
Child dedication is a public commitment you make before God, your church, and your family. It gives you an opportunity to express publically your desire to lead and spiritually nurture your child in cooperation with the Holy Spirit, so your child will develop a desire to love God and love others.
For more information about or to begin the process of having your child dedicated, contact Dusty Decker, Family Ministries Pastor.
