TUESDAY NIGHT FELLOWSHIP

TUESDAYS | 6:30 PM | WAREHOUSE | STARTS MAY 30

Last summer a strong group of young adults gathered every Tuesday night for casual worship, teaching and discussion. This summer, we’re expanding the concept to include all adults in what we are calling Tuesday Night Fellowship. Our topic this summer is the parables of Jesus. Stay late to play volleyball, Ultimate Frisbee or just hang out with friends.

Who is the Tuesday Night Fellowship for?
This gathering is open to all adults and even older teens who might want to come. There aren’t any activities specific for kids.

Is this a worship service like on Sundays?
Not really. It is a gathering of Christ-followers to worship God through some songs, short devotional-style teaching and smaller group discussion time. It’s meant to be an addition to — not a replacement for — the Sunday morning service.

What does a typical night look like?
We’ll start at 6:30 with about 10 minutes of worship followed by another 10 minutes of teaching that introduces the discussion topic for the night. We’ll spend roughly 45 minutes in smaller groups, discussing and sharing with one another. After that, everyone can relax, play games and hang out until roughly 9. It’s summer, so there’s really no hard stop time.

Why did this go from being just for young adults to adults of all ages?
We’re convinced that there is a ton of value in hanging out with and building relationships with people of different ages and in different stages of life. We’re in this together, young and old, married and single, men and women, people with kids at home and those without. We can learn much from one another, so it just didn’t make since to put limitations of who can and should come.

I am a college student looking for an environment where I can meet people like me. Can I do that here?
Absolutely. There will be people of all ages, and we anticipate a good chunk of them being in their early-20s. You’ll have no problem meeting other college student like yourself to build relationships with. Come give it a chance. While you’re here, you’ll hear about other opportunities for young adults as well.
