Raised in Tampa, Florida, Rebecca grew up in a musical family. At five, she was playing church songs by ear on her home piano and picking out harmonies, for fun, shortly afterward. Her passion for God was also encouraged and supported by her family as well. She started by leading worship in church in her youth group and then at fourteen, was approached with the opportunity to tour with a contemporary Christian band, singing as a backup vocalist and playing keys. The band toured the country, playing an annual 120 shows, opening for names such as Big Daddy Weave, Rebecca St. James, Barlow Girl, and more.
Progressing into her upper teens, Rebecca began songwriting and remained heavily involved in her church, serving in the music ministries and leading worship. Simultaneously, Rebecca graduated acquiring her Bachelors Degree in Secondary English Education with a minor in Literature. She recorded her first EP in 2012, the year of her college graduation and released it in 2013. Her first single, “Water,” was released in early 2015 due in part by the collaboration of Nashville Producer (former Plus One member), Nathan Walters. She continues as a Middle School English Teacher as she travels leading worship and aspiring to connect others to Christ through music.
